After a fair bit of trial and error the veggie patch is finally starting to come together. It consists of about 6 beds at the moment with more on the way. There is also a small greenhouse for those things that really don't like a Tasmanian winter. Why not see the galleries for more information. **Veggie garden is out of action for a little while, too wet and windy**
Vegetable gardening is a matter of your enthusiasm holding up until your back gets used to it...
It's been a very long time since this was updated, the veggie garden has really been put on hold for the last 12 months with all the rain...and wind...the greenhouse blew away!! We have another one, but it needs to be put up, one day I'll have time to get things going again...

Well, we've been drenched and flooded, but things are finally looking up. Have just used the last of the onions and now its time to plant some more, just waiting for fine weather to get them in. Had a bumper carrot harvest over winter so that was something. Garlic is coming along and the fence is mostly up around the garden to keep the dogs out!

Onion and Chilli harvest is in. Things are growing very nicely with the warmer weather, hopefully this March cold snap will not hurt the growing spurts.
Carrot harvest is in and we're waiting for the onions to dry out! More carrots have just gone in and we're in the process of getting a few more beds ready for more planting soon...
